The I Can Be An Engineer program opens the dynamic world of engineering to the bright minds of young learners. Throughout the presentation students will discover the exciting world of engineering, enhance vocabulary skills through literature, and learn that they to can become an engineer.
The goal of the program is to introduce, inform, and excite young children about engineering. The program is generally 40 minutes and consists of reading a book from the I Can Be An Engineer book series. A lively interactive discussion about the wonderful things engineers can do follows the story. The discussion includes topics about some of the things the children are doing now in their everyday life and play are just like engineers. The program concludes with the students reciting a poem about engineering from the book.
